Getting Started
Setting up your account
When your account is created you will receive an email invite with a link to complete your account setup. Please follow the link and complete the instructions. If you haven't received an email please check your Junk Mail folder, and then contact support@clear-port.com.
Once your account is setup you can access the ClearPort Dashboard by navigating to https://dashboard.clear-port.com.
Invite team members
From the ClearPort Dashboard, navigate to Account > Users
Click Invite User
Enter the new users Email Address, First Name and Last Name, and select any Roles to assign to the user
Ensure Send invite email is checked. Uncheck this box if you do not want the user to receive an email immediately.
Click Send Invite
If Send invite email was checked, the user will shortly receive an email invite with instructions to create their account and access ClearPort.
HMRC Authorisation
In order to submit CDS, NCTS, GVMS, ENS or EMCS declarations to HMRC it is necessary to authorise ClearPort to submit these on your behalf using your Government Gateway account.
From the ClearPort Dashboard, navigate to Settings > HMRC
Click New HMRC Authorisation
Select the services that you want to authorise ClearPort to use and click Confirm
You will then be redirected to HMRC. Please log in with the Government Gateway account that is associated with your CDS, NCTS, GVMS, ENS or EMCS subscription(s).
Once complete you will be redirected to ClearPort and are able to submit declarations to HMRC
HMRC authorisations are valid for 18 months, at which point re-authorisation will be necessary
