What is CDS?
The Customs Declaration Service (CDS) is the online system that supports making import and export declarations when moving goods into and out of the UK (see https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/customs-declaration-service for information about CDS from the UK Government).
CDS cannot be accessed directly by users, so you must use a system like ClearPort to make declarations to CDS.
